MAGDELINE JENKINS Obituary

Magdeline (Marge) Jenkins was born April 23, 1931 and left this world on May 22, 2011. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Aunt and friend. She is survived by her children Rick Reed and his wife Tincy; Doris Redding and her husband Carl; Cindy Mistretta and her husband Dave; Stepchildren Richard, Mark and Irene Jenkins. Marge came to the High Desert in 1967 from Covina as a new bride. She worked at Thriftimart from its opening until it closed. She was a volunteer at St. Mary's for 20 plus years. Viewing will be Thursday, May 26, from 4 pm-8 pm at Desert View Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, May 27, 10 am at Desert View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers Marge's favorite charities were St. Jude's Children's Research or any veterans charity. There will be a gathering at Marge's home after services.
