Rev. Eleanor Louise Noe, 91, of Ottumwa received her heavenly reward on August 9, 2016 at Ridgewood Specialty Care after a long illness.

She was the third of five children born to William E. and Elizabeth Tavenner Robbins of Des Moines, Iowa.

After graduating from Lincoln High, Eleanor attended Open Bible Institute, where she met Rev. Max E. Noe, who became her beloved husband of 44 years.

Eleanor was a beloved mother and devoted pastor's wife. In 1996, she received recognition for 50 consecutive years of service as an Open Bible Minister.

She is survived by her twins, Roger Noe and Carol Noe; her daughter-in-law, Linda Noe, and precious granddaughter, Penelope Brooks, Ph.D; sister, Selma Sheets, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and youngest son, James E. Noe; brothers, Martin, Louis, and Richard.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Care Initiatives, 1977 Albia Road, Ottumwa, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity.
