Ila Gould Obituary

Mrs. Ila Gould, 84, passed away November 9, 2010.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Highland Park Funeral Home.
Ila was born on April 19, 1926 in Albia, IA to Walter and Laura Whitlock. After graduation she worked at the Ordinance Plant and later Grand Central Station where she met her one and only love, Harold Gould. She would later work for Northwestern Bell 25 years until her retirement in 1976.
Ila was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents; brother, Glen Whitlock and sister, Roberta Adams.
Ila will be greatly missed by her daughter, Barbara Durrell; her sisters Ruth Sharp and Delta Smith along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Barb, I was actually thinking about you a couple days ago.  Your mom ran through my mind.  I'm very sorry to hear about her passing.  I lost my mom as well on Oct. 16th this year.  My deepest sympathy to you.  God Bless.

Barbara, My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your Mother. I worked with your Mother at the telephone company many years ago and became acquainted with Ruth Brown thru her.
