Gregory Grudecki Obituary

Gregory Joseph Grudecki, 66, beloved husband and father, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, in Arlington. Memorial service: 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Time Church, 1919 S. Cooper St., Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations. Greg was born Feb. 26, 1945, in Leverkusen, Germany, to the late Stephan Grudecki and Anna Kubit Grudecki. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. A resident of Arlington for the past 16 years, he worked as a mechanic at Roadway Trucking for 14 years. Greg loved to bowl, play cards, and his recliner. Gregory was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Grudecki, and mother-in-law, Frances Colasurdo. Survivors: Wife, Frances Grudecki; sons, John Grudecki and wife, Christine, Gregory Grudecki and wife, Stacie, James Grudecki and girlfriend, Alethea; daughter, Joyce Grudecki and husband, Eric; brother, Czelaw Grudecki; sisters, Janina Gray, Bernice Bernard, Alexandria Najdzinowicz; grandchildren, Jimmy, Brandon, Jadon, Madison, Christian and Makayla; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Darlene Colasurdo; and host of nieces and nephews.
