Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., River Oaks, presided by her devoted friend and pastor, Dr. Murray E. Richey. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Memorials: John Knox Presbyterian Church.
Dorothy was born June 10, 1920, in Fort Worth. Dorothy was a faithful follower of Jesus and a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, where she volunteered for many projects. She loved to cook for her extended family and spending time with her family was her greatest joy. She enjoyed listening to music, reading her Bible and nurturing her flowers. She worked for over twenty years in several post offices. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew her. She is now in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, in 1999; and brothers, Gerald and Vernon.
Survivors: Sisters, Thelma Wells and Jessie Prescott; daughter, Linda Lawson; sons, Ken Ozee and William Ozee; grandchildren, Kenny Ozee, Kevin Ozee, Brad Ingle and Lisa Goble; great-grandchildren, Trey and Chase Ozee, Katie Goble and Tyler and Ryan Ozee; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
