Dan, you and Cody filled a void in my heart left empty when my Dad left this world; I hope you're up there at that great fishin' hole in the sky shooting the breeze with Daddy and Grandpa Lee. Love you forever, Uncle Velic.

He was funny, smart, talented, an original thinker, a bold speaker, and a good uncle. He wasn't with us nearly long enough. I'll miss him.

I will never forget all that the Newman family did for my daughter and me when Greig died. Dan took Amanda under his wing and helped her work through her anger and loss. This wonderful man will be greatly missed.

Like Beverly I remember the many, many days we spent at Jerri and Danny's house hanging out and growing up. Danny always had time for us silly girls and taught us many things. Those summers are some on my fondest memories. His family is in my prayers today as they go thru the grieving process. Danny put up a long and hard fight against his illness. May he be at peace and rest now.

When we were the "Little Sisters" that would drive any big brother quite mad, Dan was always kind, and took us with him to so many places, so we could do way cool things, too. Danny always took good care of us. He was always there while we were growing up to be the support for us. Our protecter. I am so grateful and thankful for that. You have to get older before you actually see who the real players in your life were. Good Journey to you, Dan. See you later. Love the outfit. So very much love to you. Ozzy's "Iron Man" just came on as an anthem for me, to you. You Rock.
