I was Mrs Ill's physical therapist at Mansfield Nursing & Rehab. We visited every day and she had the best laugh. Her attitude was incredible because even when she was not feeling well, she was cracking jokes. She was in the middle of a sewing project that she liked to show me.....wonder if she finished it? She cracked me up most days with conversations about her long 2nd toe (we googled what it meant and she was thrilled it implied she was often head of the family and in charge) and how mad she got when All My Children was cancelled (I printed off the online stories for her). She loved to brag to me about her visitors especially around Christmas and New Years this year and loved talking about the children who visited her. She was so filled with life even the days before being hospitalized so I was really sad when I heard she passed away. I miss her and feel blessed to have had the time with her. She was one of a kind and I will always remember that smile and laugh of hers.

I only met her one time and that is all it took. She was so sweet and bubbly she made me smile. Being married into this family and going through all of this with my husband I can see how loved she was and still is. I just wish I could have had more time to really get to know her but I feel as if I do know her from the stories shared with me about her. I visited her Christmas with my husband John LaHue Jr. We went to leave and she would not let me walk out the door without giving her a hug. I believe that was the warmest hug I had recieved in a very long time. May you rest in peace Ms. Ill and fly with the Angels

Praying for all the family at this time. Praise the Lord, because of her faith and trust in Jesus, she is walking the streets of gold now. We mourn because we love and miss her but are so thankful we will see her again!
