Hard to believe that it has been 13 years. Think of Mike every time I go back to Texas City and Galveston area.

Mike was my manager at RadioShack around 2000 and I was in awe of his vast knowledge. He always took the time to share that with us. We had many great discussions about Galveston and birds.

He spoke often and fondly of his son, Eric. No one who knew Mike very well failed to hear about his excellent son and his Dad's faith and pride in him.

He loved to laugh and played some great jokes on us.

He will be missed.

Life is so fragile. Mike always had his heart open, carefully listening so he could serve up the best advice and encouragement he had in him. He shared his love for life openly and always offerred up hope for a better tomorrow. I'l miss him deeply - a dear friend.

I had the pleasure of working for and with Mike at Radioshack, during which time we shared many stories and laughs over hamburgers at Billy Miner's. He was always there with a smile when you needed a shot in the arm. He will be sorely missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with Eric and the Walker family during this sad time.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike and I were very close friends in school and took many hikes around Texas City and even to Galveston as part of our Boy Scout adventures. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
