Patrick Coffee Obituary

Patrick Henry Coffee, 85, a retired truck driver and World War II veteran, entered rest Thursday, June 11, 2009.
Memorial service: 9 a.m. Friday, June 19, at historic Baker Funeral Home. Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Patrick H. Coffee, son of John Kenny Coffee and Amanda Jackson Coffee, was born Sept. 7, 1923, in rural Blanco. He attended Payton Elementary in Blanco and Anderson High School in Austin.
Patrick served honorably in the Merchant Marine from 1942 to 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.
Survivors: He leaves to treasure his memory, his only sister, Mattie Twiggs; daughter, Sharon Jones of Pflugerville; grandchildren, Brianna Carothers, Brittany Bishop and Charles Bishop; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other family members; and many friends.
