Edward McKee Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ Chapel Bible Church, 3740 Birchman Avenue. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park.
Pallbearers: Jonny Brumley, Jay Decker, Jason Dial, Grey Griffith, Brad Howard, Marc Howard, Bryan King, and Kevin McConnell. Honorary pallbearers are Byron Biggs, Casey Borgers, Perry Cates, Jeremiah Collins, David Drez, Ed Farmer, Stephen Gant, Jay Hayes, DJ Henry, Philip Howeth, Tommy Loffland, David Mann, John McMackin, Philip Murrin, Wesley Moncrief, Roby Pettit, Paul Ray, Martin Rubio, Brian Sneed and Tim Woods.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, his memory may be honored with a gift to Cook Children's Medical Center, 801 7th Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76104; or The Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate's Jim Bob Norman Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 17005, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
Eddie was born in Fort Worth on Dec. 1, 1970. Eddie loved, more than anything, spending time with his family, being outdoors, and making people laugh. He was a great friend and will be remembered fondly by all. He proudly served in the Stock Show Syndicate and the Sportsman's Club. Additionally, he was a member of River Crest Country Club, Shady Oaks Country Club and the Steeplechase Club. Eddie and his family attended Christ Chapel Bible Church.
Eddie grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1989 and Loyola University in New Orleans, La., in 1994, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Eddie was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Howard McKee.
Survivors: The love of his life, Rowena Miller McKee, whom he married Sept. 28, 1996, at St. Mathew's Cathedral in Washington, D.C.; his three young boys, Miller, Edward and Henry; his parents, Nancy Kay and Stan Howard, and Bruce McKee; his brothers, Marc Howard and Brad Howard; and a host of family and friends.

Ro, When my brother Tim first met Eddie, he kept talking about him. Sometimes, I thought it was really too much. But, when I got to sit with him at the rehearsal dinner for Tim and Rachel's wedding, I got to see why my brother was so taken by him. That night is something I will never forget, both for the generosity towards the bride and groom from you two, but also from the laughter from Eddie and the smiles that I still have from those memories.
Even though you may have only met most of my extended family that one weekend, I want you to know that you, Eddie and the kids are in their prayers. Since hearing the news of Eddie's untimely death I have found myself thinking back to many memories of my time spent with Eddie.
