Robert Pennington Obituary
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Bobby was born Dec. 1, 1952, in Fort Worth to William Herbert "Bill" Pennington and Juanita Darlene Belcher Pennington. He was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Bobby will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Pennington, in 2003.
Survivors: Wife of 28 years, Carolyn Pennington of Burleson; son, Thomas Pennington and wife, Elyse, of Justin; daughter, Rosemary Pennington and husband, Nick Marshal, of Burleson; granddaughter, Ashleigh Pennington of Burleson; mother, Juanita Pennington of Willow Park; sisters, Cindy Burton and husband, Gary, of Burleson and Renee Wallace and husband, William, of Weatherford; brother, Steve Pennington and wife, Cathy, of Weatherford; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

To the Family of Bobby Pennington -
It is with deep sorrow that I have learned of Bobby's passing, We were childhood friends and Bobby was always a joy to be around. I remember him coming to my house to spend the night and how we scared him and his little brother Steve. I am sure GOD needed him a little more than we here on earth understand, But I am sure we will see him again when it's our turn to take that same path. May GOD Bless each and every one of you as you go through these difficult times.

Dear Mara,
The list of absent friends grows longer and longer. I was very saddened to hear of Bobby's passing. I have many fond memories of Bobby as Edric of Hastings. Many were made sitting in camp drinking around a bardic fire.
A wonderful friend is silent but will not be forgotten. Please keep in touch.

Dear Mara,
We are deeply saddened over the loss of Eadric. Though I never got to meet him, I feel as though I knew him because of the stories others have told me. Phelippe was hit hard by the news the other day and he send his deepest sympathies.
