William Luchsinger Obituary

William Joseph Luchsinger, 59, lost his battle with cancer in the early morning of Monday, June 25, 2012. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. William was born Jan. 17, 1953, in Tyler to Robert Dale Luchsinger and Doris Luchsinger. He had worked in the mental health/mental handicapped field for more than 20 years as an IT director. He was also a very talented artist. You may view his work at http:/BillLuchsinger.com. William was well known for his unique sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Luchsinger; his mother, Dodie Richards; and his foster son, Todd Pierce. Survivors: His wife, Cindy; daughter, Candace Ducey and her husband, Matthew; son, Clayton; foster sons, Robert Burgett and Todd Pair; brother, Bob and his wife, Patty Luchsinger; sister, Jan and her husband, Allen Kelly; many nieces, nephews, loving cousins and in-laws; and many friends. He will be missed by all.

May his guiding light shine upon Bill's family. My heart goes out to all of you. Bill was very special In mylife in our late teen years. I was very fortunate to have known him. He was always a kind man with abundant wisdom and artistic talent.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family in this difficult time.It has been a long time since I had seen Bill. I remember the whole family visiting us in Nebraska when we were kids. Good memories!
