Xander Vento Obituary

Xander Kahle Vento passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012. Celebration of life: A celebration of his life will be held Sunday. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, we ask you to visit www.xandervento.com to share his remarkable story. Xander Kahle Vento was born on Jan. 24, 2008. We knew right away that he was something special the minute we found out he was a boy. I hoped for his sisters to have a brother to even out the clan, and for his dad to have a buddy. The second he came there was a light in his eyes and an aura around him that you can't even put into words. I knew the second that they put him in my arms this was my soul child and kindred spirit. I love all of my children dearly, but this bond was different than I had ever felt. His dad held him and knew the same thing. His sisters were immediately ecstatic and wanted so much to help and take care of him. I always swore I would never call my boy "bubba"; he was immediately nicknamed "Bubba" because it fit his personality. He wanted to be everyone's friend and give everyone hugs and kisses always. This child was never afraid of receiving or giving love and affection. As parents we are so proud to have taught him the importance of affection and showing people that you love and care for them. We believe that is why he did what he did on that day. Our child had the most magical playful spirit; he loved doing anything and everything his sisters did. Whether that was dressing him up like a princess, painting his nails (which for those who knew him was usually the case, even to school) or having tons of temporary tattoos, (we are sure he wanted to be like his parents). Wrestling with dad and sisters or being tickled by mom were great and happy times for him. We were sure he would be a football or basketball player, any ball that came in his hand he knew exactly what to do with and it was amazing to see his coordination and the heart he used even just playing. He infected everyone with his smile; you could not keep from smiling when this boy was around, those round cheeks, and green eyes with a brilliant light in them. Mommy's nickname for him was "Juicy" for his cheeks, his sweet lips, his belly and every part of his was just juicy with so much love. He never made it to kindergarten, but he was wise and smart and brilliant beyond his short 4 years. The most proud we ever saw him was at preschool graduation and he won an award for "Most Loving." His beautiful cheeks turned red and his smile lit up, he grabbed his medal and gave his friends hugs and high fives. He was so proud. And we are so proud to have him taught him such an important quality. We are so thankful for all of the love and support from our family, community and the huge outpouring from even strangers to support our amazing young man. No words can describe our gratitude for all the prayers, thoughts and donations to his fund. We are proud to call this little man our son and we will strive to be more like him. We have made the decision to have his organs donated in hopes of saving other children's lives. He was a hero in this life and his next life also, we know the good Lord is watching over him and has called this boy to do more remarkable things in heaven. He is forever our angel. Survivors: Sweet Xander Kahle is survived by his mother, Misty; his father, Cris; his big sisters, Jade and Brooklyn; and so many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless people who loved him so very much.

my son had to spend some time at cook childrens, we were given a book "watch out for banana peels" myy son laughed and smiled. It was nice on such a day such as this. It had a a label on the inside that said it was given memory of Xander. He truly is a little superhero thanks for raising such a great kid. 8 months after going home he is still making others smile.

As an immigrant grandfather I was wishing to have one of my descendants to become someone of importance in this great country, but now I feel fulfilled and highly honored that my grandchild served to our Lord in his purpose. I exhort everyone in my grandsons memory to love one another as our Lord Jesus commanded.

Mi grandson at four years old he was called by our Lord to serve his purpose, Xander without doubting took it. Many of us adults are sometimes called upon to serve our Lords purpose and we ignore it for one reason or another letting the opportunity pass by.

SOMETIMES THERE ARE ANGELS AMONG US,WHAT A GREAT YOUNG BOY,I LOST MY SISTER 5 YEARS AGO ABOUT THIS SAME TIME,SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND AND SOMEBODY I LOOKED UP TO,I KNOW THE PAIN,THIS STORY HAS SINCERLY TOUCHED MY HEART,MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME

I have such a hard time wrapping my mind around such a precious person and the family that raised him to give to others even if it means sacrificing yourself. It breaks my heart to know the world lost such a special young man. I commend his parents for teaching him in such a short time that things aren't always about just you. I wish the world could be as selfless as this young gentleman because that is exactly what he was a gentleman. Even beyond his young life he gave the gift of life and love to others (thank you to his parents for knowing that is what he would have wanted). If everyone had his heart and soul we would be so much better off. This child and his selfless act takes by breath away and I will hold him in my heart forever. A true Angel on earth but Angels are relegated to be called home to heaven. Bless You Xander, you are my Hero!!!

Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again

Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this mem'ry bittersweet

Four years old! More of a man than most men. I wish I had the words to say. I can only imagine the pain you feel to have lost such a treasure. I know you must also feel so proud. I can see why God would want this little one back. I can only say that the story of this short life, lived on this earth makes me painfully aware of my shortcomings as a human being. That a child should set so high a mark for us is so humbling. I am so glad I'm not you and also so envious at the same time. I can't wait for God to wipe away our tears when we are finally with Him; to never feel this kind of pain again. God bless you. I am truly sorry for your anguish.

Sending sincere condolences to the Vento family and friends. You can be very proud of this young man. Until we can all see him again this is hoping all can find comfort from The Holy Writings that promises in the near future "He will wipe out every tear from your eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore" (Rev. 21:4). May heartfelt prayers console you always. In the meantime we can all be thankful that we have gotten to know such a beautiful young boy.

It appears angelic Xander was a Divine Messenger from God. In his innocence, he accepted all knowledge trustingly. Without the experience of living, he did not comprehend what could be lost in death. Xander's natural ability to care for others directly resulted from the loving and guidance experienced within his home. It is obvious he had already been taught to accept life as it comes, one day at a time-one challenge at a time. It is likely, a short time preceeding this tragic occurrence, he displayed an astounding gesture of affection to at least one of his parents. With that last sign, it was his way of saying Good-bye, as if he accepted the knowledge of death as a part of life. Young Xander intended to share those memorable extraordinary events with all of us to pursue Harmony, as his everlasting gift of remembrance for him.
