Thomas Hardegree Obituary

Thomas Edwin Hardegree, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012. Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Thomas was born on May 10, 1929, in Megargel to J.D. and Navasoto Carr Hardegree. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and he loved fishing. He worked for 15 years at J.C. Penney followed by another 26 years at Montgomery Ward. He was greatly involved with his church. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; brother; and son, David. Survivors: Loving wife of 64 wonderful years, Ann Hardegree; son, James Hardegree; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Mrs. Hardegree so sorry for your loss. It was truly a joy knowing and taking care of Mr. Hardegree. He will be greatly missed by all of the staff at Dr. Milam.
