One of my favorite memories of Joe was him taking me fishing up near Denton when I was a young boy. He was driving a station wagon, backed it up almost to the shore line, he hobbled over on his crutches and we fished off the lowered wagon gate. 2 treble hooks on leaders, no sinker, and nothing but a slice of white bread cast out 30 feet or so. The cats would literally race across the surface dorsal fins exposed and the winner got a mouthful of bread and hooks! I'll never forget that day, and I'll never forget Joe either. Brad Reid

Heaven rejoices in the arrival of this magnificent soul. "Well done, good and faithful servant" is echoing through the halls. He will be missed by all those his life touched. We will carry you in our hearts til we meet again.
