Mr. Grahek was my boss at Dillard's for 20 yrs until he retired from a place he loved. He loved fashion and having the item he taught me how to buy items. He loved to watch people in the malls and airports to see what they were wearing. He loved to travel and would always share his trips with us and always giving gifts. Mr. Grahek loved Birthdays and loved having pies. God's blessing to your family.

Mr. Grahek will always be the quintessential professional. He truly loved swimwear and his team. I, as a long time representative who had the pleasure to work, AND, spend some fun evenings with Mr.Grahek, send my condolences to his family, whom he spoke of so often.

I knew John in Cleveland at John Carroll University and after that in The National Guard in the early 60's.John was always fun to be with, altho neither one of us would be considered military material, we performed our duty and were proud to serve.Fortunately through Harry Passow, Dillard's Chair, I got reconnected to John after nearly 40yr lapse. I was glad to once again be in touch with him. I am most grateful he passed my way, until we meet again. Grant him eternal rest!

I have known Mr. Grahek for about 40 years. I knew him through Dillard's since he was the merchant and I was a vendor representative. He loved the swim business and prided himself in knowing fashion and how to make it profitable. I would like to express my sympathy to his family. Jewel Logan

John was such an interesting man. So totally engaged in life. Many years ago when we were working together, he somehow remembered that I liked Mont Blanc pens and brought me one from a trip he took to Asia. Such a sweet surprise.

John Grahek was known far and wide as a moderate women's merchant at Dillard's. He could be hard nosed in his pursuit of the item business, and, helped pioneer this business at Dillard's. I always admired John for his penchant of driving Corvette's, and, being a fearless world traveler. Rest in Peace, John.
