Louise Kuhn Obituary

KUHN Louise Strauss Kuhn, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in Groveport, OH, on December 15, 2011. Born in Milwaukee, WI to Anna (Neumann) and Norbert F. Strauss, Sr., Louise graduated from North Division High School and Mt. Sinai Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years William R. Kuhn, and sisters Gertrude, Wilma, and Janette. Louise is survived by her children, Robert, Richard, and Annemarie Holmes (Peter); grand-children, Jarrod, PFC Andrew, and Elizabeth Kuhn; sister, Mary Ann Reit, Milwaukee, WI; brother, Norbert F. Strauss, Jr., West Bend, WI; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Louise was dedicated to her family, her church, and community service projects throughout her life. Heartfelt appreciation is extended to all medical and support personnel of Mt. Carmel East Hospital and Hospice for the compassionate care they gave to Louise. A memorial service celebrating Louise's life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 730 Collingwood Ave., Whitehall, OH on January 14, 2012. Friends are invited to gather at 10 a.m. to greet the family with service beginning at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be offered to Faith Lutheran Church or a personal charity of choice.
