My heart goes out to Karen's family. Karen was a dear friend of Ted and I during our days at OU and I thought of her very often throughout the years. God has called another angel to be with Him. God bless. With love and sincerity, Vickie and Ted Williams

Helaine and I will miss Karen very much in our future, and I believe that Karen was too young to pass away now.

To Karl and Karla,
Karen was such a wonderful friend. Silas and I will always treasured the times our families spent together. Time and schedules these last few years have caused us lose contact with you. But you have always been in our thoughts and prayers. Karen will be greatly missed.
With Love
Lynette. Silas, Lynsi , Whitni and Jessi

I had the privilege of working with Karen at Twain Elementary School in Pontiac, Michigan. It was a joy to visit her classroom. Teaching special needs students was not just a career for Karen it was her calling. She was patient yet persistent and the classroom atmosphere was always caring and challenging. I am thankful for all that she shared with me about serving special needs students and their families.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
