Karen was such a wonderful friend. Silas and I will always treasured the times our families spent together. Time and schedules these last few years have caused us lose contact with you. But you have always been in our thoughts and prayers. Karen will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege of working with Karen at Twain Elementary School in Pontiac, Michigan. It was a joy to visit her classroom. Teaching special needs students was not just a career for Karen it was her calling. She was patient yet persistent and the classroom atmosphere was always caring and challenging. I am thankful for all that she shared with me about serving special needs students and their families.
