Harold Franck Obituary
1927 - 2018
Harold Eugene Franck, 90, of Ashville, Ohio, passed away Mon., May 28, 2018 at Pickaway Manor Care Facility, Circleville, Ohio. He was born June 9, 1927 at New Boston, Ohio, son of the late Edwin R and Myrtle Evelyn Lewis Franck. Harold was a graduate of South High School in Columbus and served in the US Navy during WWII. Harold was blessed to be on Honor Flight in 2013. He was a retired postal employee and member of NALC for 68 years. He was a long time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by his wives Millicent Anderson Franck and Leah Hoffman Franck, sister Betty Lou Simms, brother George F. Simcox. Harold is survived by his children, Leslie (Walter) Kayser, Victor, NY, Karen (Harold) Henson, Ashville, OH, Sharon (Jeffrey) Dixon, Circleville, OH; step-children, Rosalie (David) Waterman, Staunton, VA, Linda Ragsdale, Huntington Beach, CA, and Joseph (Vonnie) Wamack, Savannah, GA: sister-in-law, Wilma Simcox, Thornville, OH; niece, Juel (ED)McGhee, Pataskala, OH; nephews, Michael (Betty) Simcox, Thornville, OH, and Greg (Betty) Simcox, Dublin, OH; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; special friends, Joyce, Jack and Pat. At Harold's request, cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
