barbara: i'm sorry I was not able to get back to you when you called earlier in the year. I presume it was to let us know about Brad. Marj and I had been hoping we might see you in Michigan when we go back for her family reunion. Can you send us an email or snail mail address or phone number so I can give you a call. I always enjoyed Brad, especially when I visited him (twice) at the cabin in Michigan. Please get in touch. Love, Lee and Marj Torliatt ([email protected]).
Phone is 707-545-7507.

Brad Richardson was a kind, generous and wise man, who made a game-changing difference for Japanese and East Asian studies, faculty and students alike, at Ohio State. His curiosity about the people he met and what made them tick, like his desire to help, were gifts to remember and emulate. Many thanks, to Brad and to his family.
