We did not know Luke or his family personally, however, my child is a Senior at OOHS.
Our hearts are very heavy knowing that this young life is gone. I hope God gives strength to Lisa, Randy, Jake, your family and his friends to endure the sorrow and gives them the courage to go on. May God hold Luke in his arms.
We wish we could take your pain and void away. We are praying for your family.
An OOHS family.

Sending our deepest sympathy to the Gabbert Family. Words are not enough to express the great sorrow we feel. Luke was a best friend to our son, Sean, and he will be deeply, deeply missed. Sean loved him like a brother. We will cherish our memories of watching Luke play soccer and hanging out at our house. Our prayers are with you.

We are thinking of you, much love and prayers are being offered for your family. Luke was a great kid, talented in many ways, a good friend. The baseball years when the boys were little and graduation day when he showed up to help bail out Anthony from the muddy mess he got them all into the night before are some fond memories -- had some good laughs once all vehicles were free:) May God wrap his loving arms around you and provide the strength to get through this. Rest in peace, Luke!

Luke and I got to be super close the last year. He would come over and we would just talk about life. I loved hearing about how bad he was at Spanish and all the fun things he was experiencing at college. He has been basically a neighbor to me for 7 years but he grew to be one of the bestest friends I've ever had. He always made me laugh and smile, along with everyone else. I'm so sorry for you loss. I loved Luke and I'll never forget him and the impact he had on me. You guys are in my prayers.

There was never a dull moment around Luke. He was the most compassionate and amazing soul and friend I have ever had. He was constantly making me laugh and smile on the good and bad days and I will never be able to thank him enough for that. Rest in peace angel! Keep kicking that soccer ball in heaven for me. See you someday.
