I hope you know how much you are loved and how much we miss you. You were the first person to listen to me about my autoimmune disease. You sent me to OSU to get it treated. I am healthier now and it is all because of you. You were the best person. I miss seeing you.

I am in shock. I just went to make an appointment with Dr. McCauley on Tues. 5/21/19 and learned of her passing of 2018. She was the first Dr. that ever shared with me that she could tell if an individual had diabetes or not with an eye examination. I always looked forward to her exams as she was very thorough, professional and truly cared about her patients. She will truly be missed by myself and I'm sure others as well. Rest in peace Dr, rest in peace.

I became a patient of Lucy four years ago. She took the time to listen to me and diagnosed that my eye issues were due to an autoimmune disease. She sent me to OSU were they diagnosed the specific disease and began treating it. She was the only doctor who took the time to hear me and got me treatment for the disease rather than just treating the symptoms. She was an awesome doctor and person. My eyesight was saved due to her caring nature and professionalism. I am absolutely devastated for her friends and family. You are all in my prayers and I hope you know what a wonderful doctor she was! Bless you all and may God comfort you all.

My beloved baby sister there isn't a day going by that I miss you dearly my heart aches so much and I feel so lost inside.its so hard not talking or texting you all the time. I wish u would have let me know what was really going on I would have protected you as I always tried to do. We had such a special bond that only sisters know. We even had our own silly language that made us laugh uncontrollably. Daily tears run down my face but I also have moments of memories and laughter. As always I will be the family rock and hold us all down the best way I know. Ari and lil Keith will be in good hands with and we will make you proud stepping in your shoes and molding them as you wanted. Love you now forever and always.

As her neighbor, it deeply saddens me and I will miss her warm friendly smile when we crossed paths, either at Latch-key, taking a walk or just driving by. She was ALWAYS smiling. Hi Auntie, I've been missing you everyday. I hope things are okay with you, I know it sounds dumb but I just have a nagging feeling of wanting to make sure you are okay and smiling like I usually see you do. I forgot to tell you that I became a level two technician last week. I knew you would have been happy and proud. Thank you for supporting me in all my academics, steering me in the right direction, giving me your motherly advice, and always answering my weird memes and phone call at strange times of day. I know you will watch me struggle through every subject and have a lot of long nights but at least You'll also see me walk the stage next year, 2 years after that, and then 2 years after that for my doctorate. Thank you for coming to my high school graduation and cheering me on from there. I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field like you, I want to impact peoples lives like you did. With your unending guidance, I am thankful to be blessed with such a gorgeous guardian angel like you. I Love You, always and forever -ZanniPop
