Frank Miller Obituary

Miller Frank J. Miller, age 93, of Hilliard, OH, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Carriage Court Care Center. Born August 23, 1923 in Columbus, OH, he graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in German Village and was a mail carrier in Columbus for 31 years. He served in the 20th Army Air Force in WWII and also in the Korean Conflict with the Ohio National Guard. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with two bronze stars, the American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon, the Air Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster and the Victory Medal. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Loretha in 2015, parents Frank and Flora Miller and three sisters and one brother. Survived by daughter, Bonnie Lee; nieces and nephews. Member of St. John Lutheran Church of Dublin and former member of Grace Lutheran Church of Arcadia, FL. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. TUESDAY, January 3, 2017 at the ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6135 Rings Road, Dublin, OH 43016 with Pastor John Greig, officiating. Interment Dublin Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements by TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME www.tiddfuneralservice.com. (Please deliver flowers to the church.)
