I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Jay was my 6 & 7th grade teacher at Treca Digital Academy. He was a great teacher and a very caring person. I met Mr. Baker and Sammy once at COSI for a fieldtrip. Again, I'm very sorry for you loss, please accept my sympathies.

Jay,
Still their eyes haunt me, so sad for me- for my loss....I still cannot feel the gravity of their thoughts for I am still lost in your encompassing love....for we had the dream- we fell in love with and married our soul mates- a dream so few will ever realize- for not even the finality of death can erase that dream. 54 days ago you left our physical world- and it seems like yesterday- and an eternity, all at the same time. The beautiful things you have said to me over the years still resonate in my ears....
"You are my perfect mate- my door into summer..."
"Will you marry me? In the soft moonlight? On a white sand beach in the Pacific Ocean? In a gauzy white dress? Me in a flowing white shirt? The sky a sea of stars- the Southern Cross pointing the way across the infinite sea to our common future. And we share heartfelt, quiet words unique to us and our feeling to proclaim our love and unite our souls for all eternity."
"I love you Michelle. Crazily, madly, passionately, deeply...and eternally. Till the sun grows old and the stars grow cold."
That is how I love you and will remember you Jay. My love for you will burn within my soul till the sun grows old and the stars grow cold.
Love,
Me
(Michelle Robbins-Baker, Wife)

What a shock to hear the news of , as we called him "Jay Anthony" The Herrero's are very sad for your family. His mom worked for our fathers years ago! I remember at a VERY young age how he would list all the Preidents for us. He grew up to be a great young man and will be missed!!

Hi Michelle and family!! I was so saddened by this news--words cannot express. Jay was one of the smartest people I knew--yet humble and self-effacing. He was a great friend to me and he will be missed.

Dear Michelle and Baker Family,
Jay was a creative and compassionate teacher. His keen sense of humor always brightened my day. Jay was an expert at playing pranks too. :-) We have all lost a wonderful friend much too soon. I have always held Jay in high esteem. Even though he was the same age as my own children, I learned a lot from Jay. He was not afraid to take chances or try new things. Please know that the positive impact Jay made on our lives will continue to live in our hearts.

Mr. and Mrs. Baker,

I can't tell you how sorry and shocked I am about Jay. As many people tend to do, we drifted apart and lost touch after high school, but my memories of time with Jay are among the best I have of that time in my life. I always looked at Jay as both brilliant and down-to-earth. He excelled at school, yet he seemed more comfortable listening to music and hanging out with us. If I can do anything, please feel free to contact me.
