Dearest Ken and Julie's Family,
This news came as a shock and I am so sad. I had always thought that Julie was one of the brave and lucky ones who had beaten this dreadful disease that has taken so many people close to my heart. Ken, you have my heartfelt sympathy and know that you are in my thoughts. Julie's family, what a blessing she was to those who knew her. My first memory was "Show of Shows". She Bev D'Angelo, and a tall girl who's name escapes me dressed like little girls and sang a really cute song and danced. Funny what you think about isn't it? Much love to you all in this sad, sad time. Find strength in the good memories and allow yourselves to cry until you're ready to stop. Goodbye sweet Julie. You are missed!

I am so glad that I had the good fortune to know Julie. She could always make me and others around her laugh. She was truly a good person, the type that don't meet often, and the type that make a difference in your life. I will always keep her in my memories and will miss her every day. Julie was always so kind to all those that she met. Julie always remembered to ask how everyone around her was doing always extending a hello to all. So sad for all of you at this time. Julie was always so kind and giving...even to us "underclassmen"! She often made time to smile and visit which means a lot in life...and she never stopped doing just that..making people feel she cared!

I was so lucky to get to know Julie and Ken through Ann & Steve and Jackie. We spent many fun, laughter filled days at the pool at Rittenhouse and had good times at Spuds. My heart and prayers are with her wonderful family and friends.

Julie had a contagious smile and a wonderful sense of humor that will remembered by many. Her acceptance of her situation was truly unbelievable and humbling. My heart goes out to all her family and her many friends.
