Dear Family of Leta,

My name is Stephen and I knew Leta for many years since I first met her when I joined the online Euchre league on WON. My name there was sas148, and I did attend a Live Tourney here in Columbus a few years ago. Snow (Leta) was a wonderful, beautiful and hillarious woman. She will be missed and never forgotten. I morn for you and your loss. But she'll never be forgotten and I'm sure she is always watching each of us.

Diana,Eric,Liz,Mimi,and Zack,

Every day you guys are in my thoughts and prayers, along with all the fun memories of times spent with Leta and all of you. Those are such great memories. Cara is still so sad also. She loves all of you so much. Leta was like a 2nd mom to her. She loves all of you as her adopted family. Please remember we are always thinking of all of you and are always here for you. I will always remember Leta and all of you being there for me and Cara and all of my family comforting us when we lost Clint. It meant so much to us!

We love you guys. Michele (Evans) Carson. Craig and Cara also.

I found out less than two hours ago, and the shock has not worn off. Probably never will. I have never in my life known anyone as ALIVE as Leta Jo Stewart.

She touched everyone she met. Her vivaciousness and her loving nature were present in everything she did. The life of the party, always wanting to be sure everyone was happy and taken care of.

The only thing I know for sure is that I have never in my life laughed as hard as I did every single time I talked to Leta. Just being with her made me happy. I regret that I haven't spent time with her lately.

I'm so sorry I didn't find out sooner -- I absolutely would have been there. Not that I could have given much comfort. I pray God will do that over time.

Eric, Liz, Meredith, Zach, Diana... I will never be able to express to you my sorrow or even my thoughts, but my prayers will be with you constantly. I know Leta is looking down from that card table in the sky (heaven forbid they have computers up there), and she is happy that you all are together. And she is anxiously awaiting the day we will all laugh again. Probably as we remember something hilarious she said....

With love and fond memories,

Beth Anne

Dearest Eric, Liz, Meredith, Zack, MawMaw and the rest of the family,

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Words fail me at this time, so many thoughts are running through my head. Leta and you all became an important part of my life...family to be honest. I hadn't talked to Leta for a while, but you all were always in my thoughts. I remember so many great things about Leta and you all. She bursted with life everytime she walked into a room...and even more so when she laughed. I remember the most how much fun her and I had playing euchre. She taught me a lot about myself whether she knew it or not. If I had just one more talk with her, I'd let her know what an impact she made on me and how much she was loved and cared for. I love you all and my love is with you most during your difficult time. I hope to see you sometime soon.

I never had the chance to meet her face to face, but Leta's personality came through loud and clear online and over the phone. She was one in a million! I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Diana, Eric and the children,

What can I say that people haven't already said about Leta/Prettysnow? When I heard the news of the accident I couldn't believe it was true. I had only played cards with her the day before (her as Livin_Ezy). We laughed and joked and even started some heated "discussions" in the lobby to amuse ourselves. We reminisced about the "old days" on Hoyle and laughed about some of the antics we got into.

I can't believe she's gone. It will be so strange playing euchre without her.. it's been 8 yrs of good times and many more keyboards ruined (as I would spill drinks in them from laughing so hard) then I care to think about.

May God comfort each of you in the special way that you need to be comforted. He knows u, and knew u when u were in ur mother's womb. He is the GREAT healer and with Leta by His side assisting him in giving comfort to those who loved her best, all will eventually find peace. I believe this with all of my heart. I pray for all the best for you all as u begin ur new journey without Leta physically beside you, but know that she is always WITH you!

All My Prayers and Love go out to you,

Carrie-Anne (aka YFHWA or more recently KIA_ORA)

Look Into Your Heart

When the pain of the world,
has brought you down,
The Love of the Lord
Is always around.
His Love is so true
because it is always there
to guide you in all you do.
When it seems as though
you are alone
He will know
How to guide you home.
When you are sad
reach into your heart
He is always glad
to do his part.
Take comfort in his loving arms
He is always there
to keep you safe from harm.

Keep God in your Heart and souls forever, he will never leave you and will always love you...Just like your mother/wife/lover.

Dear Diana, Eric, Liz, Meredith and Zachary,

We have all lost a beautiful person. Don and I, have lost our adopted daughter of 38 years. We have so many beautiful memories of Leta Jo with Tammy. She was always a ball of fun, always laughing and trying to make someone else happy. She would make you laugh till your sides ached. She was always there when you needed someone to help. I will miss all her parties, tupperware, etc. She loved to entertain. When you attended them, you would think you were attending a wedding reception--food galore. She loved the people she worked for and they loved her. She was a very caring person. We will also miss her hollering over to us in the backyard when she visited you Diana, but she is with God, her Dad, whom she loved deeply, and Grandma Gracie. Knowing those two, Gracie is probably telling everyone what to do, and Leta is probably fixing a feast--God has never eaten so good until he eats what Leta has prepared. God will definitely not go hungry with Leta around. It is hard to lose someone so young and vivacious, but we must not question God's Way. She was finished here, and now God has a special job for her in Heaven, which only she can do. May God's Blessing be with all of you to help you get through your sorrow. If you need anything Diana, we will always be there for you. We love all of you.

Mom, Eric and the kids, I pray that the Lord

Although we had never met, you have touched the very heart of my soul.

Your patience, love, and understanding have carried me through some hard times.

Although you are a world away, somehow we knew each other in a way that really matters.

We are closer than most people who have met, because we have taken the time to reach deep within ourselves to know the person beyond the face.

It is truly what is on the "inside" that counts.

You were more than words on a screen.

You were an inspiration in times of need...

You gave me hope when things seem lost...

You made me laugh, cry, listen and talk...

You made me think without saying a word.

In this vast world of silent talk, although we have never met, I had found a true "friend."

I will miss you Snowie more than words can say!

It is such a shame to lose someone that we love. I really didnt know Snow (Leta) as well as others did, but I definitely remember her. I know she will be greatly missed. I pray that her son recovers both from his injuries and his loss. Having lost my father on Mother's Day 2004, I can honestly say that I have a great idea of the grief the family is feeling. Continue to try to be strong and most of all, keep your faith in our God strong. There is always comfort to be found with Him. Heaven has gained yet another great spirit. (and euchre player) I bet her, SassyNanny, Rockyyyy, and Valhala are playing a Battle of the Sexes as we speak. We love ya SNOW and look forward to meeting you again "one fine day".

It had been quite a while since I'd spoken to Leta and quite a while that I had known her, off and on. I only heard today that she was gone and for it to register also took a while. I was saddened, and to be honest, really surprised (in a good way!) when I felt the need for a tear. So long since I had spoken to her and yet still my fond memories are strong.

I will remember all the fun and all the fightin' we did playing euchre. Although I never got to meet her, I knew her pretty well.....good bye Prettysnow.....

Dear Diana, Eric, and kids,

I know there are no words that can describe your loss. The most we can do here is to let you know we're thinking of you and to hope to help you remember the great things about Leta.

She touched so many of us. Her spirit was immeasurable and her zest for life was awesome. She was fun, generous, and lively. She loved her family and knew how much you all loved her.

I knew her as PrettySnow. More than once, she had me laughing so hard that I was crying - and that was before I ever even met her in person. Then when we got together...well, you probably remember that. She lived more in her 38 years than a lot of folks do with twice the time. I'll never forget her.

I am so sorry for your loss.My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I used to play in fseuchre as roses35 . I never had the pleasure of meeting her in real life, but I parded her many times and considered her a good. We did speak on the phone a couple times and I am glad I got to know her.

Love and Hugs, Linda

What can we not say about snow, she was everything a friend could ask for, the laughs, the talks, the cries we had together, always there when I needed her. We never won games together we were to busy in lobby talking ,laughing and asking each other what we had in our hands(but everyone could see us cheat lol)But we still never won LOL. And the flirting we did (alot to each other) LMBO was so funny. Just a few days ago in lobby she said my lord nina u making it so hot in here that the icecreamman gonna melt LOL. thats our snow for ya. I will miss u dearly my friend. You will always be a part of us all. I will hold all of you dearly in my prayers. Love,Nina812

May the LORD guide all the family and freinds during this time of sorrow.

It was 2 years ago I lost my wife to cancer and still struggle with it at times but the LORD has helped me through it all.

Trust in Him and He will help you all through it too.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!

Leta, I know that you are up there in heaven and making the family circle a little bit brighter with your being there. I am looking forward to the day I to will join that circle and be with the ones that have gone on before me.Also to be able to look upon the face of my Lord Jesus Christ and touch His nail scared hands. You will be greatly missed her, but with time the sorrow will get a little more bearable through the guidance of Jesus Christ. May you rest in the arms of Jesus now. I'll see you again one day. Love ya, Barbara
