I have known Rene, since I can remember,as a kid, parties and cookouts with all of us kids and missy and marina..Tony in the kitchen making pasta and peanut butter fudge while Rene would be dressing bambi (dog) up in a nun's outfit and making up jokes...memories like these fill my mind and make me smile..loved and always remembered..

I met Rene' when we were working together on a show and knew right away what a funny, gentle, caring person he was. How thankful I am he was part of my life.

I met Rene' in the '70's, directed him in some plays, acted with him, played canasta and bingo with him, leaned on him and loved him ever since. He brought so much joy into my life and the lives of my family! The world is a left a more gracious place due to the too brief but beautiful presence of Rene' and Tony, the best friends anyone could be blessed enough to have.

Jenny and Jeff,
René was a blessing in my life and I will miss him greatly. I'll never forget the good times and laughs we had, (usually at someone else's expense), I take comfort in the hope that he is with Uncle Pearl, Aunt Mary, grandma and grandpa and of course, Aunt DooDoo. I love him as I love you all.

I worked with Rene' at the Mystery Cafe at the Jai Lai Restaurant in the mid 1990's. He was an inspiration and a joy to work with, an exceptional director and actor and one that will be missed greatly.
