Steven Butsch Obituary

BUTSCH Steven L. Butsch 61, of Mechanicsburg, passed away, Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Otto Julius and Mary Ellen (Hackworth) Butsch. Steve served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired after 35 years of service with Ohio Bell. He had a passion for life, and along with love, brought happiness, humor and calm to every situation. He lived every day for his wife, children and grandchildren. He will always be with us in our hearts. Steve is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah (Dear) Butsch of Mechanicsburg; his sons, Steven (Christine) of Lewis Center and Christopher (Andrea) Butsch of Mechanicsburg; his grandsons, Gabriel, Joseph and Bradley; his sister, Leesa (Sam) Stephan of Pataskala; as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Otto Richard Butsch. Graveside service will be held at 12Noon on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the Mausoleum at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. Services are entrusted to SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to www.vernonfh.com.
