Glen,
Our hearts are sad today as we remember Elsie.
What wonderful times we had together! We fondly remember the special dinners at our home in Surfside with you, Elsie, and our kids. Do you remember as we do our exciting trip to Pawleys for dinner when the car broke down and we had to be towed?" We especially enjoyed our visit with you and Elsie in Ohio when you were driving us around Comubus and Elsie told you, "Haniger, I think you are lost." You replied matter-of-factly, "Yes, but we are making good time." Oh, how we laughed! Von and I still use your phrase, "But we are making good time," when we get lost.
Elsie was passionate about so many things and voiced it! We hope the Angels have as much fun with her as we did. Her dogs were like her children. And, her porche helped to keep her a child - her eyes lit up as she talked about it. We will miss her but will continue to have such fond memories. We loved her, and we love YOU, so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you go through this time of grief. Remember, we are only as far away as your phone or your computer monitor.
Love,
Joyce and Von Beatty

Dr. Haninger,

My husband and I vacationed at Elsie's condo at Surfside for years. She and I would have lunch while we were there and we would sit for hours drinking Long Island Iced Tea and talking about Jesus! I loved her dearly. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. She was quite a lady. Heaven has it's hands full today, and it is our loss!
