When I look back at all of our family gatherings I'm reminded of my many conversations and good times with Carlene. Lately I've thought about my summers spent in Springfield and all the things we did as kids. Those were great times remembered. Carlene was a very unique person. She loved her fashions. Well Carlene you'll be greatly missed. You left to soon but I know you will be giving fashion advice to all the angels in heaven. Rest in peace.

Gloria Jean & Family,
I was shocked and saddened when I heard of Carlines' passing....there are so many wonderful memories of Farnam Ave. in 'Fair Vista' you all were like family to me, believe me when I say I know your pain but there is much comfort in these words of God "Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes with the morning light". It seems like a very long night sometimes but comfort does come.....memories are priceless hold on to yours.

I was so sorry to learn of Carline's passing. Totally unexpected. I would see her out and about the neighborhood walking with another neighbor friend of mine . I remember picking up my Obama/Biden yard signs from her house. I remember her wonderful wreaths on the door, I remember the Planter's Grove women's fall dinner with her, her wonderful smile and laugh, and I remember how proud she was of her son running for office. What a shock to have learned of her passing. Our deepest sympathies go out to her husband Howard and family. May she rest in peace. God Bless you all.

Dear Family and close Friends, I know that we are all experiencing the true feeling of being blindsighted. Truly a bright light and a creative force with an out-going and often funny personality has too soon departed this life. Although our hearts are heavy with grief, I trust that we all will cherish many fun filled memories, conversations and adventures with our dear Carline. I pray that we will seek God's comfort and trust that He knows what's best. Much love and growth in family and friendships to us all. That's what Carline had always hoped for. Best wishes, Jeannie(sister)
