Carlton, I just found this site today (12/01/10). I am grateful for the opportunity to express my sincere sorrow regarding your mother's passing. My fondest memories of your mother will be the ones related to all the times I saw her express her love for you and the pride she displayed regarding your accomplishments. Carline was the epitome of dignity, class and style with a big heart to match. She supported my son's fundraisers and many of our family business ventures. I enjoyed spending time with her at our family gatherings. I also have fond childhood memories of family reunions at her home.

I was shocked and saddened when I heard of Carlines' passing....there are so many wonderful memories of Farnam Ave. in 'Fair Vista' you all were like family to me, believe me when I say I know your pain but there is much comfort in these words of God "Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes with the morning light". I was so sorry to learn of Carline's passing. Totally unexpected. I would see her out and about the neighborhood walking with another neighbor friend of mine . I remember picking up my Obama/Biden yard signs from her house. I remember her wonderful wreaths on the door, I remember the Planter's Grove women's fall dinner with her, her wonderful smile and laugh, and I remember how proud she was of her son running for office.
