Manny Elman

ELMAN Manny Elman, age 83, of Canton, passed away Monday July 18, 2005 in Wexner Heritage Home in Columbus. Mr. Elman was born July 13, 1922 in Poland to Ovadia and Miriam (Moskovitch) Gekelman. Manny worked for Rebublic Steel and was also well known for Manny's Upholstering which he operated for 50 years. He was a former member of Temple Israel. Manny was a Holocaust survivor and was fluent in six languages, and enjoyed music, travel and world events. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Randy Cuenot of Bexley, OH; sons and daughters-in-law, Victor and Lori Elman of Bexley, OH, Jeff and Jodi Elman of Solon, OH; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Greg, Rachel, Aaron, Halle and Jillian; and his former wife, Rose Elman of Chicago, IL. Graveside Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11:15 a.m. at Canton Hebrew Cemetery.
