Hankster and Carol. Brett worked with me at York Golf Club for only a brief period one summer. But I remember him as a great worker and a kind soul! His love for a band called Pfish, and music in general, was obvious. I pray for both of you at this difficult time. The world suffered a great loss when your son passed.

I only learned of Brett's passing this evening & am shocked, grief stricken, & guilt ridden, as I have been undergoing my own medical issues since 2012 but was unaware of his. If only I had known I'm sure Brett would've embraced me with all the kindness, compassion, & humor that made an impression on everyone he met & those of us who knew & loved him cherished & appreciated. Although, I never met his family, I'm sure you must be the loveliest, most wonderful people for contributing to the world the kindest, gentlest soul that Brett was. All my condolences. I will miss him very, very deeply.

I didn't get to see Brett much after P.K.'s but I hold dear the late nights at P.K.'s where I was greeted with a friendly smile and some downright genuine conversation. Honestly one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. It didn't take more than a single interaction for this guy to leave an impression. I am lucky to have these memories. You are greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Brett was truly the nicest, most sincere friend I've ever known. The last time I saw him, it had been awhile since we hung out, but he still remembered an obscure band I liked that happened to be playing at Natalie's last summer and invited me to come up. I couldn't believe he remembered, but that's how Brett was, sincere and loyal. I'm gonna miss you so much Brett, Rest in Peace.

Brett was such a wonderful person - generous, funny and so kind. I have many, many good memories of him - especially of the times he was quietly present for our family through difficult times. Carol and Hank - I'm thinking especially of you and your family right now. Please know that I will never forget dear, dear Brett.

I knew and was friends with Brett from Elementary school on. We kind of went our separate ways towards the end of high school, but Brett is one of the few people I have met in my life that I can honestly say I never had a negative thought about, and never heard negativity coming from him. He is/was a great guy!!
