It's been years since I last saw you and Sara but I have thought about you often. I had the opportunity to scuba in the French Society Islands last fall and have also had great times in Cayman and Cancun with my daughter. Every time I've been down there in the beauty of the underworld, I've thought of you, Jerry, because you made it possible.

You were a good man and a good friend. I can't believe you're gone at such a young age.

The world will miss a great guy like you. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Jerry was the greatest big brother a little sister could ask for. He was very supportive, loving, fun and always available with a BIG bear hug for any and all occasions. I will miss him more than words can say. It touches my heart to see how many people experienced what a great human being he was. Patient, kind, helpful and full of life and smiles. I love you big brother!

I'm sorry to say I only met Jerry in 2005 and only talked to him on two brief occasions. Both were at Barbershop Harmony Society International Conventions (SLC & Indy).

Jerry was a guy you had no choice but to like instantly - what a great personality trait. What a great guy.

God bless you, Jerry, rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerry in the recording/production industry in the 1990s. He was the consummate professional, just wonderful to work for. He put the "gentle" in gentleman. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Jerry was an acquaintance, but his friendly way and engaging personality made him seem like a life-long friend. We met through mutual barbershop friends and I felt like I was lucky to know him.

Jerry's family and friends have kept those of us far away, up to date on his condition and it was with great sorrow that I learned that he had lost his fight. It is typical of the big man that even in death he gave by donating his body to science.

To Jerry’s family and friends, I offer my deepest sympathy. Jerry’s deep voice will continue to echo in our hearts forever!

The spirit we all know as Jerry is a truly magnificent thing .. a genuine gift to this world - resonating far beyond the limitations of a human body .. and now, i suppose, we all get to let him live in, and through us ..
Jerry was the kind of guy that made me want to smile more, share more, be kinder - and sing lower ! In his memory, let my actions and deeds be full with his inspiration. Still, I'll miss him being in the places he is supposed to be ..
what a great man ..

.. his legacy is his life-force.

I met Jerry through barbershop and sports. He had expressed an interest in one day coming to Alaska. He emailed how blessed I must be to live in such a beautiful place- something we Alaskans forget coming out of a long, dark winter. Today the sun was out and Alaska came alive-- and I remembered his words ... you're right, Jerry, I am blessed by this beauty and blessed for knowing you. Thank you.

Jerry will be sorely missed by all of his barbershop brethren. I only met him a few times, but I knew he was my friend from the first minute. Rest well, my friend...I know your bass voice is adding a lot to the choirs up there.
