Claye Maynard Obituary
Claye Maynard, age 30 of Murfreesboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 4, 2011.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Jim Powers and Brother Frank Lipetri officiating. Burial in the Republican Grove Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Mr. Maynard is survived by his parents, Robert Earl and Joyce McGregor Maynard; daughter, Ella Maynard; his brother, Craig (Jennifer) Maynard all of Murfreesboro; his grandparents, James and Elisabeth McGregor and Lillian Hackney Maynard; aunts, Janice (Charles) Ralston and Donna Woods of Canada; uncle, Clifford (Brenda) Maynard all of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews; his fiancee', Amber Phillips and her children, Jasmine Phillips and Jayden McMackins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Robert Maynard.
Mr. Maynard was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church and a 1999 graduate of Middle Tennessee Christian School.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, 615-893-5151

We did not know your son and we cannot know what you are going through at this time. It has to be hard to lose a child. Everyone keeps telling me they are proud of me for being Strong. i don't know mr. maynard. i never met him. but this past week he has had a very strong impact on my life. i was there on 840 that thursday. i was on my motorcycle and was the 1st to stop and help. i wish i could have been in my truck and 5 mins earlier. my prayers go out to his family and friends. reading all the entry i can tell he was love and admired. god bless.

I don't really know where to being! I can say this Claye was a great person! He will be missed! He was a very important person in my life! He helped me through a lot! I wish many blessings of peace to his loved ones!

Our prayers are with you, Joyce, Robert, Craig and all of Claye's family. We remember Clay as a happy-faced little boy when his brother Craig played baseball with our son Scott, and Robert coached the team. As families, we shared some great times together. May God bless you all, as we
