Robert Coil Obituary

Robert "Bob" Ray Coil

Robert "Bob" Ray Coil, age 68, passed away May 19, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro.

He was a native of South Bend, Indiana and a resident of Murfreesboro. Bob received his BSEE at Purdue University and worked as an Electrical Engineer with Square D/Schneider Electric for forty five years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. Bob was also a part-time pastor at St Paul Methodist and Maxwell Chapel in Bedford County.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Christ Coil; daughter, Laura Coil Medlin; and nieces and nephews William, Alan, and Michele Lowel.

He is survived by his mother, Ethel Louise Taylor Coil; wife, Kathleen Johnson Coil; son, Thomas Robert (Cathy) Coil of Murfreesboro; sister, Virginia Coil Lowel of Stow, Ohio; nephews, Steven Lowel, Clint Huss; niece, Heidi Hague; grandchildren, Kathryn, Andrew and Taylor Coil and Corey Medlin.

A Memorial service will be Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2303 Jones Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
