Adam Kreuter Obituary

Kreuter, Adam

Adam Alvin Kreuter, 99, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at Pine Crest Village on August 1, 2014. He was born July 31, 1915, in Park Ridge, IL to Adam and Elise (Blank) Kreuter.

Adam received his B.A. degree at the University of Arkansas and then earned his law degree at Kent School of Law in Chicago. On July 3, 1943, he married Jane Leffler in Chicago, she preceded him in death on March 5, 2011.

Adam worked as an attorney in family law in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for many years. He and his wife retired to Sturgeon Bay in 1980. Adam enjoyed sailing all over the great lakes and playing golf as much as he could. He also enjoyed skiing and traveling all over the world with his beloved wife.

Survivors include his son, Kurt (Debe) Kreuter, Neenah; a daughter, Christine (David) Kellems, Redwood City, CA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

A memorial service will be conducted in the near future at Hope United Church of Christ. Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association or Hope Church in his name. On-line condolences may be offered at www.forbesfuneralhome.com
