Nettie Louise Austin Nettie Louise Austin of Kinsey, Al died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 of multiple health problems following a stroke she had in 2007. Friends and family are invited to the Graveside service at Memory Hill Cemetery on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 6 P. M. Louise was a proud and loving mother and grandma to all her family and even in her last days, kept up with what everyone was doing. There will be a very large hole left in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Louise was employed with Flowers hospital in admitting and insurance for 30 years. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for many years and attended until her health failed her. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Vander and Irelle Powell and her sister, Mary Glenn ( Rothell) Barnes. She leaves behind her daughters, Cindy Strickland and husband John of Warner Robbins, Ga., Peggy Richards of Kinsey, Al. and a son Russ Austin of Dothan, Al. Grandchildren, Jeremy Alphord of Texas, Starla Griffin of Kinsey, Al., Shannon Milstead and husband Tony of Florida, Jim Eldredge and wife Jessi of Michigan, Dustin Smith of Louisianna, Dale Lisenby and wife Amanda of Dothan, Al. and Kia Beasley of Dothan, Al. Great grandchildren, Brian Lisenby, Kaleigh Harper, Kyle Franklin,Jaycee Miranda, Cody, Brandon, and Jessica Milstead and a great great grandchild Layla Milstead. She also leaves her brothers, James Edward Powell and wife Joyce and Charles Powell and wife Sherie. A nephew, Robert Powell and wife Renee and nieces Deborah McAllister, Sharon Galpin and husband Randy and Denice Papac and husband Steve.
