Frankie "Bud" Argo entered this life on July 16, 1939 in Bryan County, Oklahoma to Frank and Sallie (Tucker) Argo. He entered the gates of Heaven on October 26, 2015 in Caney, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 10 days.
Bud lived all of his life in either Atoka or Bryan County. He farmed and ranched, owned a body shop and retired as a firefighter for Durant Fire Dept. He was of the Baptist faith, and loved spending time with his family, going out to the pastor and watching his cattle, and deer hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: John and Verlin Argo, and son in law Mathew Olson.
He is survived by his son Buddy Argo and wife Barbrie of Caney, OK, son Jim Argo of Durant, daughter Rhonda Smith and husband Darrell of Mead, OK, son Scott Argo and wife Brenda of Caddo, OK, daughter Salli Olson of Lone Grove, OK, cousin Pete Argo of Caddo, OK, grandchildren: Sara Argo, Tonya Eden and husband Joey, Ben Argo, Erin Argo, Christopher Smith and wife Elizabeth, Christy Smith, Clay Argo, Matt Argo, Whitt Wilson, and Boyer Olson, great grandchildren: Lacy and Jo Eden, numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong with Bro. Monty Wood officiating. Family hour will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5-7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be David Flowers, Joey Eden, his fellow Durant Firefighters: Dale Lyday, Danny Lyday, Karry Robinson, Joe James, Jody Harrison, and Sam Aldridge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lance Billings and Pete Argo.
Condolences can be sent to www.brownsfuneralservice.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service in Durant, OK.
