Carol Catherine Foriyes Clark passed away on April 30, 2016 after a courageous battle with ALS.

She was born on Dec. 19, 1933 to Frank and Rose Addotta Foriyes in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Rockford, Illinois. Carol stayed close with her kindergarten classmates up until the time of her death, and she cherished those friendships.

She married the love of her life, Leonard S. Clark, on July 14, 1984.

Carol was a true social butterfly, hosting ladies' tea parties, visiting new lunch restaurants, and playing raucous domino games with her husband and their friends late into Friday nights.

Carol was fiercely proud of her children's and grandchildren's achievements, and she treasured her family.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard, and her children, Maryanne McFarland (David), Gianine Lupo, Karen Lupo (Dave) and John Lupo (Dorothea), 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-children Merry Ellen Lingmann, Steve Clark (Marilyn), Peggy Rushton (Doug), Mark Clark and 11 step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road in Mesquite, Nevada.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Gail, Erika and the amazingly caring people at Mesa View Hospice. They also would like to thank Leonard's sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Mick Edwards, for their love and support.
