Resident of Walnut Creek
Our beautiful mother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her loving husband, Charles H. Currier in 1996, and her beautiful daughter Diane Marie Vallon in 2011.
A third generation California girl, Bobbie grew up in Oakland, California and enjoyed living in the Bay Area her entire life. She was an accomplished artist and very active in the Rossmoor community. She enjoyed being the matriarch of a large family that adored her.
She is survived by her daughters Deidre Lingenfelter (Loren) of Danville, Kathy Fleming (Jim) of Napa, Carole Safir (David) of Los Gatos and Nancy Clennon (Jack) of Naperville, Illinois. She was the companion of Gene Wilson of Rossmoor.
Also survived by her grandchildren; Jon Condrey (Dana), Shaina Haller (Zack), Kiera Condrey, Tyler Brown (Katie), Brett Brown (Jenny), Chad Brown (Lia), Ryan Callahan (Stephanie), Jessica Safir, Sarah Safir, Kelly Clennon, Molly Clennon and Colleen Clennon.
Baba loved her great-grandchildren - Reya, Anna, Chad, Mia, Jack, Josh, Madison, Ellison, Kayler, Summer, Callan, Courtney, Cara and two on the way.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Rossmoor on Thursday, December 11 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.

I've come to this page late, but I feel compelled to leave a memory and a belated note of condolence and thanks.
When I heard of Barbara's passing, a rush of memories overwhelmed me. Barbara was truly beautiful inside and out. I remember the many chats we had on the family room couch at the home on Mars Court when I was a young man. She was always gracious, had that twinkle in her eye when she smiled, and enjoyed a good laugh.
Anyway, few people in my life have shown me the love, compassion, and warmth that Barbara did back then. I was indeed blessed to have known her for the time that I did and I am grateful for the kind words and encouragement she gave me back in the day and for the positive impact she has since had on my life. I am convinced that such a kind spirit lives on, most certainly in her family and in those she touched.

Dear Currier Family, Barbara had such an impact on my growing up, she was so calm and creative and loving and always treated me like one of the daughters. Have so many memories of of being part of the family and Mars court. she was so special to me , she will be truly missed.Many warm thoughts to all the family . Linda Merrill

All of the Wilson family loved Barbara. She was a beautiful & remarkable lady that will be deeply missed. She will be remembered at the Wilson Reunion memorial in July. We loved her visits to Maryland and our visits to CA. Our deepest sympathy to her family and Gene. Love Ken & Barb Wilson, Carla & Daniel.
