Jack Ravazza Obituary

JACK A. RAVAZZA On March 4, 2002 age 89 Jack A. Ravazza died. Born in Oakland, his father Peter was one of the original partners of Columbo Bakery. Jack owned and operated Ravazza's Restaurant in Emeryville for 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Alameda Elks Lodge No. 1015. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart and St. Leo's Church. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Betty Ravazza. Children Marilyn Gutierrez Wong, Cherie Gorman, Karen Walton and Peter Ravazza. Grandchildren Angela Gutierrez, Dan Gutierrez, Jason Gorman, Jeffery Gorman, Jamie Walton and Jennifer Walton and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by his step brother Robert Sinclair. Friends are invited to attend Visitation at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland on Thursday, March 7, 2002 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm and Rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services at St. Leo's The Great, 176 Ridgeway Ave., Oakland on Friday, March 8, 2002 at 10:00 am. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
