My condolences to Jayne, Tracy, and Doug. It was with great sadness to hear of LJ's death. I worked for LJ for many years at Motorola. I will always remember his kindness and encouraging words. He was a dear friend and I am thankful to have known him.
I pray for LJ to rest in peace, and my deepest sympathy to his family.

Of ALL the managers I worked for during my 35 years with Motorola, LJ was the BEST of them all. LJ, you are missed very much by your Motorola family. May GOD bless you and your family.

I was so surprised and saddened to learn of the passing of my good friend and mentor. Leslie and I are serving a mission for our church in Los Angeles, so it has taken a while to hear the news. I owe LJ a lot for being willing to take a chance on me as town manager in Gilbert. He was such a strong voice of reason in those formative years for Gilbert and knew how to draw the best out of people. I don't think I eve met anyone who didn't respect him. I am so grateful to have known him and his wonderful family. May God bless you all.

I will never forget the Man or his family. LJ and Jane were so wonderful and kind to me at a time when I really needed it. LJ was a mentor and showed that I could do anything I put my mind to. Symmpathy, Prayers and Love to your Family

Eva and I knew, and at times worked with LJ, during our many years at Motorola. I also had the good fortune to be included in some hunting expeditions with him and others. I remember giving him the business when I heard he was running for Mayor of Gilbert. He was not only a great Mayor, but his vision and efforts charted the path for Gilbert to grow to what it is today. Our thoughts, prayers, and sympathy go out to all the family.

Jayne, Tracy and Doug, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Some of my earliest memories have LJ in them. I remember walking to your house for a pool party when you lived on Concho. My first hunting trip was a deer hunting trip with my father Leo an LJ. I must have been 9 or 10 As a kid, I thought it was cool that my father was a friend of the mayor. Your all in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with L.J.since he was hired into Motorola. He was one of my very best friends and compatriot. We hunted and golfed together many times. He and Jayne were and are two of our very favorite people. He was one of the best liked people in ALL of Motorola. He was oh so smart and yet oh so personable to any and all of his work mates. He will be missed. Jayne, Tracy and Doug you are in Myrna and my prayers.

Those of us that worked with Motorola during its many "renewals" and changes of direction will always remember L.J. who was able to simplify what was happening for the rest of us. We will celebrate his life today as his family remembers the life he shared with them.
