George DURUPT Obituary
August 24, 1940 - March 29, 2018
It is with a deep sense of sorrow and loss that we say goodbye to George, our beloved Dad, Papa, Brother and Uncle, who has gone to be with his wife, Helen, who passed away only 9 months ago. George passed away suddenly in a car accident March 29, 2018 at the age of 77.
He is remembered with love by his children Gail (Ed), Mark (Doris), and Joyce (Bruce); his grandchildren Ruben, Alex, Tessa, Marek, Joshua, Joel, and Kiera; his siblings Roger (Elnora), Anna (Jim), Berthe (Ross), Marcia, Anita, Claude (Betty), Genevieve (Keith), Jeanne (Kevin), Leon (Sarah), and Antoinette (Brian), many nieces, nephews and a multitude of family and friends.
Besides his cherished wife, he was predeceased by their infant daughter Alice and brothers-in-law Howie and Joe.
The Funeral Service is Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, 10826-62 Avenue, Edmonton with a lunch afterwards, at St. Agnes. There will be a viewing Friday, April 6, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home 5311-91 Street, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, consider a memorial donation in George's name to the Knights of Columbus (St Anthony Church office) or a cause of your heart.

Very sorry to hear about George. He was always interested in how things were going and enjoyable to visit with. Due to the weather and planes being grounded, I was not able to attend the funeral and extend my condolences in person.
