Dear Donna/Alan & families
So sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Your Mom and Dad were such good friends of my Mom and Dad and I remember many a night of them playing cards. You are in our thoughts at this difficult time. Doug & Shirley Kanuka (Morgan)

Donna/Alan, sorry to see that Uncle Ab had passed away. At a time like this it is comforting to remember the good times we had as a "Waring family" over the years. Christmas day was always a day to look forward to and remember fondly.
Your Dad was the last of the brothers and I guess we are now the eldest Waring generation. I often think about how difficult it must have been for them growing up without a father and all in all I thing we can be proud of how well they and we turned out. Sue and I are travelling to Belgium in a couple of weeks and will be visiting our Grandfather's burial site. I will be sure to think of you all as I sit by the grave and reflect upon how WW1 impacted us all. You are both in our thoughts and prayers.
