RIETZE, Eleanora Mary
April 4, 1935 – November 8, 2012
Our dearly loved mother and grandmother passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family. We will be forever grateful for Mom's ongoing love and inspiration in our lives. Mom was a vibrant and active part of her community and touched many lives with her energy and passion for life.
She will be sadly missed by her four children; Paulette (Doug) Brandt, Kimberley (Jim) Bladon, Heather (Dennis) Wenass and Gregory (Kim) Rietze; 10 grandchildren Matthew (Ashley), Justin (Michelle), Stacey (Rob), Jesse (Kali), Teryn, Samuel, Jeremy, Keegan, Kendahl and Michael; brothers Harry (Shirley), John, Herb (Gloria); sisters Evie and Margaret (Jim) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Fred of 48 years; granddaughter, Erin and her parents Herb and Elisabeth Dick.
To honor Mom's wishes there will be no Funeral Service. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers please take the time to live a day as our mother would have.

We are so sorry to hear of the death of Eleanor. She was a great lady to work who was very loyal and demanded perfection - great qualities. Cherish the memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. all.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Eleanora's passing. We had sat with her at the Legion only a week before her surgery and she was more concerned with my upcoming transplant than she was for herself. She assured us that she would do great and we felt sure that this would be the case. She was a wonderful warm person with a large personality. She will certainly be missed by all her friends at the Legion in Spruce Grove. We are thinking of all of you and sending our blessings.
