Nicholas SENIUK Obituary
August 13, 1923 - April 17, 2014
On Thursday, April 17, 2014, Nick Seniuk of Mundare, Alberta, peacefully passed away at the age of 90 years. Nick will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife of 62 years, Marcia; four sons, Terrance (Ann), Melvin (Jane), Gerald (Lori) and Murray (Holly); two daughters, Karen Royer and Charlene (Robert) Embury; fourteen grandchildren, Neil (Chantel), Natasha, Zane (Chelsey), Jennifer, Katrina, Jason (Erica), Tammy (Lee), Nicky, Nicole, Sean, Erin, Crystal (Jesse), Courtney and Kelsey; four great-grandchildren, Keegan, Liam, Konnor and Greyson; also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Nick is survived by two sisters, Nancy Slywka and Josie Hasey; one brother Mike (Sophie); two sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Mary Seniuk.
Nick was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Mary; five brothers, Steve, Nick (in infancy), William, Peter and Alex (Olga); three sisters, Annie (Louis) Laschuk, Tillie (John) Pundyk and Barbara (Frank) Kryzanowski; one brother-in-law Steve Hasey.
A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Mundare, AB. where a Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow at St. Demetro's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery – Hilliard Farms.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Demetro's Cemetery or to a charity of one's choice.
