Robert Gilsdorf Obituary
He is remembered with love by his partner Roberta, children Seth, Matt, Jessica, Athena and Robert, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Always positive, Bob loved his family unconditionally, he enjoyed their successes and shared them with great pleasure.
Bob was a respected Political Science Professor at the U of A for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors, travelling the world, walking, hiking, reading, writing and volunteering.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the wonderful staff at Allen Gray who cared so much for Bob during his time there. Bob considered it his home and enjoyed his life there.
Memorial donations may be made directly to the University of Alberta Library. A celebration of Bob's life will be held in the summer of 2015. Stay tuned for details - bob loved a party!
