I only just now heard the sad news of Dave's passing (July 27). I lost touch with him after he left AADAC and I regret that. Even though I haven't seen him at least 20 years, there is a heaviness in my heart as I write this. Dave was a good man and he had a big and very positive impact on me at a time when I needed a friend most. He was that friend to me in the truest sense of the word. I am so grateful to have known him. God will bless him because of the nature of his heart. Loved you, Dave.
