JAMES DEBENHAM Obituary
September 1, 1947 – August 21, 2015
Debenham, James Stanley Llewellyn was born September 1, 1947 in Watrous, SK to Alex and Enid, followed by seven siblings. The family settled in Regina, SK. Jim became a journeyman carpenter and eventually settled in Edmonton, AB. He met the love of his life, Sharon; they married July 24, 1982 and had three children, Michael, Jennifer, and Laura. They first lived near Carvel, AB, then moved to a farm near Opal, AB in 1998. Jim served as a deacon in his local church and enjoyed farming, beekeeping, camping, and helping others. In 2008 Jim suffered a brain injury and was cared for at Extendicare Eaux Claires LTC until his passing on August 21, 2015.
Jim was predeceased by his son Michael and his parents, Alex and Enid.
He is survived by his wife Sharon; daughters Jennifer and Laura; siblings: Lynn (Allan), Beth (Cam), Bev, Scott (Karen), Bonnie (Mike), Gerry, Rob (Karin); nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Serenity Funeral North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, AB at 2:00 p.m.

We send our heartfelt condolences to you Sharon , Jennifer and Laura and to all Jim's brothers and sisters. I think Jim would like us to rejoice with him in his release from suffering and his Welcome Home to his Eternal Home and the joy of reuniting with those gone on before. You have carried much sorrow over the results of his accident and the loss of his presence with all the family . May God now let you feel his closeness as you hold him in your thoughts.

Dear Sharon, Jen, Laura
It was with great sadness we heard of Jim's passing.
We wish to express our deepest sympathy and want you to know we will remember you in prayer.
We thank God for Jim's life and thinking of Jim brings back many memories of good times spent together when the Debenham family lived in Regina.

Dear Sharon and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you, on the passing of your beloved husband and father! Sharon, you were a very dedicated, compassionate and caring wife. I am sure that James looks down "from above" with great gratitude and love! May beautiful memories of times you shared, be a source of comfort in these days of sadness!
